Foreign Office warning for Tunisia
Security has been stepped up in Tunisia in preparation of the second round of elections on December 21.
The Foreign Office has warned holidaymakers to be vigilant and avoid political rallies and areas where large crowds may gather.
It said: "Tunisia is going through a period of political transition following the 2011 revolution. Presidential elections took place on 23 November. A second round will take place on 21 December.
"The Tunisian authorities have announced additional security measures over the election period, including at polling stations.
"There have been a number of protests in the post revolutionary period. These are not normally aimed against foreigners, but international events can trigger anti-western demonstrations and further protests could occur."
