Former agent joins Intrepid
Former travel agent Katie Bunting has joined Intrepid Group as partnership growth manager for southwest England and Wales.
Bunting was most recently branch manager of Hays Travel in Weymouth and had previously worked for Co-op Travel and First Choice.
She will report to head of trade sales Andrew Turner and join a team of five partnership growth managers. Her role will be to maintain and enhance Intrepid’s trade relationships through training and agency visits.
Turner said: "Katie’s travel agency background and passion for sustainable travel makes her a fantastic fit for the PGM role. ~Katie will be an invaluable addition to the team as we enter our next phase of growth with purpose."
Bunting said: "I’m excited to be joining Intrepid as it celebrates its thirtieth anniversary. I look forward to sharing our style of authentic and sustainable travel with agents and expanding their knowledge of responsible travel."
Intrepid claims to have seen three years of record growth, with sales through the UK trade up 17% for the year to date.
