Former lowcostravelgroup boss launches new Irish venture
Former lowcosttravelgroup’s managing director in Ireland, Clem Walshe, has launched a new website for his latest venture, a travel marketing businesses.
LocalMarketing.ie specialises in providing a range of marketing support to travel companies operating in the Irish market.
Services include sales and marketing strategy, brand development, social media, email marketing, PR and media buying, supplier and trade representation and project and event management.
Walshe said, "We’re delighted with the new look website and have already had some excellent feedback from several high-profile travel companies, both local and international, who have expressed an interest in working with us to develop their Irish travel business into 2017 and beyond."
Walshe was MD of lowcosttravelgroup in Ireland from 2010 until June last year, shortly before its demise in July.
He has also held several other travel roles, including managing director of Budget Travel, manager of Inghams Travel Ireland and various positions at Aer Lingus Holidays.
