Fred. Holidays Rail Journeys is offering an epic journey featuring two iconic destinations.
The new rail & sail itinerary pairs an Antarctica cruise with a luxury rail journey to Machu Picchu.
The 20-night ‘Antarctica Expedition Cruise & Machu Picchu Luxury Rail & Sail’ trip starts with an overnight in Buenos Aires.
Guests fly to Ushuaia to board Ponant’s Le Boreal for a 10-night Antarctica cruise.
The Antarctica cruise features zodiac outings and landings taking in glaciers and volcanic beaches.
Throughout the cruise, guests will hear lectures about the wildlife of the region and be treated to sightings of penguins and humpback whales.
Back in South America, guests fly to Lima for a two-night stay at the five-star Belmond hotel including a guided tour of the city.
A further two-night stay is included in Cusco, before boarding the Hiram Bingham for a luxury rail journey to Machu Picchu.
The trip departs 24 February 2024 and is priced from £19,995 per person including return flights from London.
Bookings made by 31t May 2023 receive £500 off per person.
