Free day out at faith theme park
Holy Land Experience, Orlando’s religion-based theme park, has announced its annual free admission day will take place on January 28.
All visitors on the day will gain free admission and parking until the park reaches its maximum capacity of around 2,000.
The usual entrance fee is $45 and $30 for children under 12 years old.
The theme park, which is owned and operated by faith broadcaster Trinity Network, features reconstructed exhibits, presentations and interactive performance to recreate events from the bible.
Under Florida state law, it must offer free admission to all at least one day a year in order to qualify for exemption from property tax as a registered religious organization.
