Genesis expands FareSpider
Genesis announced its low fare search and booking tool known as FareSpider now includes real-time inventory from 64,700 worldwide hotel and resort properties.
The company in a statement said:
“The added hotel content makes FareSpider the first global, agency-managed low fare search and reservations utility to incorporate enhanced packaging of hotel content with GDS air, web air and charter air from 465 GDS and supplemental carriers, and 40 Web-based airlines, including Web airlines with specific travel agency access portals.”
Consolidator fares will be added soon, the company said.
Genesis is offering a free, 30-day trial of FareSpider.
The company is geared to small and medium sized travel agencies that need to tightly control automation expenses. These companies also require a fully functional, robust booking platform.
Genesis says it offers an “ideal program” for agencies that do not wish to commit to GDS minimum productivity, as well as ARC and IATA-appointed agencies.
