Golf specialist founders up for entrepreneur award
Founders of a specialist golf tour operator have been nominated for the Ernst & Young 2012 Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Ross Marshall and Andrew Harding charged up their credit cards in 2005 to launch YourGolfTravel.com.
And due to their success, which has seen company revenue soar to £35 million, they have been nominated for the award recognising innovation and success.
YourGolfTravel.com now employs more than 100 people and has a company mission of providing low-cost golf breaks and holidays at championship courses in the UK and abroad with a customer service focus.
Marshall said: "In testing times, this is a fantastic effort by all our team. We have now firmly established the business as Europe’s largest golf travel retailer and our group brands have also grown significantly and trade with distinction."
