Goodbye to Quorum
One of Australia’s leading print travel trade publications will cease publication after a final issue next month, with Sensis, parent company of Quorum Publishing, deciding to close the division effective August 31.
Launched in 1983, Quorum, which focussed on the meetings and incentive sector – was published regularly along with Quorum Meeting Place and Gregory’s Travel Fact File.
Sensis said the decision to discontinue the publishing division had been difficult, but very much in line with its strategy to aggressively manage their portfolio to ensure maximum growth.
August 2007 will be the last issue of the magazine.
The advent and stellar growth of on line publications globally has been impacting on print publications, in particular in trade related spaces.
