Gullivers acquires talpacific parent company
The parent company of specialist operator talpacific Holidays has been acquired by Gullivers Travel Group for £9 million.
Gullivers has bought the global travel business of New Zealand-based Pacific International Holdings, which owns talpacific Holidays (UK).
Talpacific provides tailor made itineraries to the South Pacific Islands, New Zealand, and Australia.
Director Edwin Doran said: “Gullivers Travel Group has an excellent reputation in the South Pacific and New Zealand market.
“This acquisition will improve our purchasing power and increase our competitiveness, enabling us to build on recent successes.”
