Hammers forge partnership with Kissimmee
Experience Kissimmee has signed a three-year deal as official destination partner for West Ham Unitied.
The partnership is the first of its kind between a US destination marketing organisation and a Premier League team and will give Kissimmee brand prominence around West Ham’s new stadium, in hospitality suites, on database mailings to over one million fans and on social media.
Experience Kissimmee president and CEO DT Minich said: "With West Ham United’s historic move to a new stadium this season the timing couldn’t be better to reach the club’s enthusiastic fan base.
"This agreement will put the Experience Kissimmee brand in front of sold-out crowds in the heart of one of our most important travel markets."
West Ham vice chairman Karren Brady said: "Following this summer’s highly successful US. tour, we are delighted to have forged another significant relationship in the States, particularly one that will benefit our supporters.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for our fans to take advantage of excellent deals to visit a beautiful part of the world."
The deal is one of several major sponsorship agreements Experience Kissimmee has put in place recently as part of its bid to become known as the ‘rental home capital of the world’.
It recently sponsored the P1 Superstock Powerboat racing and lunch on the third day of International Pow Wow (IPW).
Minich added: "By sponsoring premier events like P1 Superstock Powerboat and IPW, as well as positioning Kissimmee as the Vacation Home Capital of the World, we are elevating the Kissimmee brand in the eyes of one of our top international consumer markets.
"When they hear Kissimmee, they know we are a leading destination, just minutes from the world’s most famous theme parks."
Harry Hastings co-CEO and co-founder of the Ocean Holidays Group commented: "We were delighted not only seeing the Kissimmee P1 powerboat in action (and win!) but also have the opportunity to showcase Experience Kissimmee’s unique product.
"As the vacation home capital of the world, companies like Ocean Florida really do benefit from the destination with products ranging from value for money town homes right up to 12 bedroom mansions with facilities like bowling alleys to lazy rivers! Consumers had the opportunity to enter our competition on the day to win a holiday in Kissimmee."
