Hard Rock names new CEO for Asia
Hard Rock International has appointed a new chief to oversee its Asia operations.
Edward Tracy has been promoted to chief executive officer, Asia.
He is currently head of Hard Rock Japan LLC and focused on the development of a Hard Rock Integrated Resort following recent legislation allowing for integrated gaming resorts in the country.
"As the former CEO of Sands China Ltd and CEO of the Trump Organization, Tracy brings more than 30 years of proven gaming, hospitality and integrated resort experience to Hard Rock," said Jim Allen, chairman of Hard Rock International.
"We are confident in Tracy’s ability to lead the company’s efforts in Asia and we look forward to seeing our business continue to grow under his leadership."
Hard Rock International is now present in 73 countries comprising 178 cafes, 24 hotels and 11 casinos.
New hotel and integrated resort projects in the region include the Maldives, Desaru Coast, Malaysia, and Dalian and Haikou in China.
