Haven donates 88 holidays to FHA after death of co-founder
Haven Holidays has donated 88 family holidays to the Family Holiday Association in memory of the charity’s co-founder Patrick Laurance.
Laurance, who founded the charity with his wife Joan in 1975,passed away on January 11 aged 88.
“We have always been proud of our association with the FHA and were very sad to hear of Pat’s death,” said Haven’s PR manager Naomi Woodstock.
John McDonald, FHA director, said: ”This generous gesture from Haven Holidays means that around 370 people will be able to enjoy what for many will be their first ever break away together as a family.”
