Hawaiian Airlines launching daily San Diego-Maui flights
Hawaiian Airlines is launching a new nonstop service between San Diego and Maui’s Kahului Airport.
Hawaiian will fly daily on the route using new Airbus A321neo aircraft from May 1, 2018.
It marks a return on the route it last served back in 2010, the airline said.
"We are delighted to offer travelers more options to visit our islands next summer," said Peter Ingram, Hawaiian’s chief operating officer.
Later the same month the airline restarts seasonal daily flights between Kona and Oakland through September 2, 2018, also using A321neo jets.
For next summer it will also operate a second daily flight on the San Francisco-Honolulu and Los Angeles-Maui routes.
