Hays Travel Foundation surpasses £1 million in grant donations
The Hays Travel Foundation has reached a majorr milestone and has now donated over £1 million in grants to help young people across the country.
The Hays Travel Foundation was founded in 2015 to helpyoung people.
All the organisations that have received funding from the foundation are registered charities that support young people in sports, art, education and health.
The money donated to charity through the Foundation comes primarily from Hays Travel and a small contribution from donations.
In addition to the Hays Travel Foundation, every branch across the country takes part in a Local Community Partnership scheme.
This scheme provides each branch with £300 a year to use in fundraising efforts, with the aim of increasing this figure significantly to be donated to a charity, school, individual, or important cause.
The Foundation supports the scheme by matching any funds raised that are to be donated to registered charities.
Toni Gibson, Head of Sales Operations & Community Initiatives at Hays Travel, oversees the Hays Travel Foundation.
“Due to the pandemic, funding from the Foundation had been temporarily placed on hold. I am delighted that we were able to relaunch The Hays Travel Foundation in May 2022 and to have reached such a milestone already. “
