Ian Coyle is leaving his role as commercial director at DoSomethingDifferent.com to take up a new position.
He becomes sales and marketing director for HolidayTaxis.com in January.
Coyle will be responsible for leading all aspects of existing and new distribution for the UK and Ireland working closely with founder and CEO Paul Stanyer.
Coyle has previously worked for Youtravel.com and Holidays Autos.
He leaves DoSomethingDifferent.com at the end of the year following a two year assignment to launch and position the Experience & Attraction Tickets provider as a leading supplier to the UK trade.
“I’m really looking forward to joining one of the most entrepreneurial businesses in the UK travel industry,” he said. “A business and, equally as enticing, a team of people that understand the sector and, the needs of our travel industry partners like no others.
“From my prior outside knowledge of the business, I look forward to assisting and complementing one hell of a dynamic and respected sales team, as we continue to grow the business, working with partners wanting a quality product and service for their customers.”
Stanyer said: “It’s no secret that we’ve been looking for a suitable person for quite some time and I’m delighted that Ian has chosen to join us.
“We have achieved a huge amount over the past seven years and it’s right the business looks to bring in the necessary talent and calibre to ensure we are well placed to deliver our ambitious growth plans for the future.”
