Hotel and ski tickets at Lake Tahoe

The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe is offering $479 for accommodations and lift tickets. The package includes deluxe ski-in, ski-out rooms and two adult or child lift tickets valid for three consecutive days. A minimum four-night stay is required for the “Hit the Slopes” package. Holidays are excluded. Rates include taxes and other resort fees. Tickets are non-refundable. Blackout days apply. The offer is good through April 13.

Trafalgar says it offers “big savings” on groups

Trafalgar is offering what it calls “big savings” on its 2012 summer vacations with a limited time offer. “The start of a new year is the perfect time to begin thinking of upcoming travel plans, and also a great time to take advantage of early booking offers like our New Year’s Europe Sale,” says Paul Wiseman, President of Trafalgar USA. Typical deals include an 11-day “Flavors of Italy” with prices starting at $2899. Clients booking an air-inclusive European summer guided vacation can save $600per coupld. “Clients will experience Italy like an insider, enjoying a Highlight Dinner of local specialties in Parma, resting their heads at a private villa outside of Florence and trying their hand at Italian cooking with lessons from a local chef in Tuscany,” the tour operator says. Offers are good until Jan. 13. Offers are for departure after April 1 and returning by Oct. 31 when booked with flights operated by Lufthansa.
