A weekend art package
Radisson Edwardian Hotels is offering a “Love Your Weekend, Love Art” package targeted at art and culture lovers, weekend breakers and couples. The package features among other things: a hotel stay, museum guidebooks and afternoon tea for two. It is available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights only at 10 hotels in central London.  Guests can choose from nine four- and five-star hotels in central London, plus a four-star in New Providence Wharf.

The “Love Your Weekend, Love Art” package, valid until January 4, 2009, includes a minimum stay of two nights at one of the 10 hotels, afternoon tea for two at a Radisson Edwardian Hotel in London, full English breakfast for two, guidebooks to the National Gallery and Victoria & Albert Museum, National Gallery audio guide, 25% off major exhibitions at the V&A and late check-out on Sunday only.

Prices start at £141 ($282) per room, per night, based on double occupancy in a standard room.  Rates, including VAT of 17.5%, vary according to season, and are subject to terms and conditions.  Add-on tickets to the English National Opera, Wigmore Hall and seasonal Classic FM concerts are available.

Don’t leaf it too late for a short break – three-days from £63 pp with Classic Cottages
With two en suite bedrooms divided over two floors, one with a double bed and one with a zip and link bed to form a double, the superbly furnished Oak Leaf (sleeps four) is ideal for two couples. Located near Beaworthy in stunning North Devon, the luxurious first floor sitting room has a huge sofa on which to lay back and chat after a day exploring the area.

Visit Winsford Walled Garden to see a traditional cottage style garden within the Victorian walls.
