The two-part premiere episode of Gordon Ramsay’s new FOX series,  Hotel Hell concluded last night and the reviews and ratings are in.

On the down side, Brian Lowry at Variety complains that "Hotel Hell doesn’t teach us much about the hospitality industry."

On the other hand, Allison Keene at the Hollywood Reporter raves that:

"It’s satisfying, and makes one ready to dive into whatever fresh hell Ramsay is up to tackle next."

Hotel Hell earned a 1.9 adults rating in its 8 PM time slot during viewings on Monday and Tuesday . It is now ranking as the highest new broadcast series of the summer among adults 18-49.

Future episodes of the show, produced by Ramsay’s One Potato Two Potato Inc., will see Ramsay raking hotel owners over the coals in San Diego, CA; Coeur D’Alene, ID, Cambridge, NY and Milford, PA.

The initial episode concentrated on the Juniper Hill Inn in Windsor, VT.   The inn is now featuring a Gordon Ramsay ‘Hotel Heaven’ package on its website. Guests can book a room, mention Ramsay and get a 40 percent discount on the room plus vouchers totaling $70 in value.
