Hoverspeed to drive online sales
Hoverspeed has pledged to drive more bookings online with the launch of a new website.
The high-speed cross channel operator will provide special offer fares, shortbreaks and holidays on the site together with online shopping for beers, wines and spirits.
The new look site at www.hoverspeed.co.uk comes as the company prepares to introduce ‘Jumbo’ Seacat fast ferries on the Dover-Calais route next year.
Managing director Geoffrey Ede said: “Starting with our website, Hoverspeed is making major investments throughout our business for 2005.
“As other ferry operators contract, we will be leading the way on fares, introducing increased capacity, provide the fastest sea crossing and as the trvalling public become incteasingly comfortable with online purchasing, we aim to drive more of our business through the website.”
