iCoupon signs vouchering deal with Air India
Vouchering solutions provider iCoupon has inked a new airline deal with Air India.
The flag carrier will adopt both iCoupon’s standard digital meal vouchers and its Autopay solution.
Air India has committed to adopting iCoupon’s standard digital meal vouchers solution, which means travellers will receive swift compensation in the case of delays or cancellations directly via their boarding pass.
This gives them complementary food and drink during disruption at the airport.
Air India has also incorporated iCoupon’s Autopay solution across its network.
iCoupon’s AutoPay consolidates bills from airport retailers into a single monthly invoice per airline legal entity or currency domain.
By removing the need for individual agreements with retailers at each airport, this automation reduces administrative costs for airlines.
Director of Sales of iCoupon, Viktoriya Soubra said: “This new deal with Air India is crucial in strengthening our partnership and supporting Air India’s continued expansion with iCoupon across Europe and North America – two important regions for our growth strategy.”
“It’s a valuable partnership and we’re excited to continue our growth together.”
iCoupon works with partners across the globe, and more than 190 airlines, 300 airports and 2,500 retail units.
