Report says passengers are not getting the service they did a few years back

Carriers are failing their first-class passengers, according to a report in today’s Daily Express.

The report says that passengers are grumbling about the first-class service they receive on transatlantic flights, for which they often pay as much as GBP5,000 for a return trip.

The newspaper reports an ‘industry expert’ said: “First Class is what economy class was like a decade ago. Meagre meals, uncaring stewards and diminished legroom as more people get upgraded for free.”

What do you think? Are first class standards slipping or are they just as good as they have ever been? Just click on ‘Add a Comment’ at the top of this page and have your say.
