ITM conference sold out
The Institute of Travel Management’s 2008 conference, due to take place in Dublin later this month, is completely sold out for the first time.
In total, 500 delegates from the UK, Europe and America will attend the conference, including 200 buyers.
Keynote speakers include leading futurist Ian Pearson and former Labour Party Director of Communications Alastair Campbell.
“Despite again receiving excellent delegate feedback from last year’s event in Edinburgh, we’ve worked hard to come up with a programme that delivers the ever-expanding education needs of our members,” said head of marketing Mark Harris.
In a new addition to the programme, four businesses will put forward new ideas to business travel to a panel of industry heavyweights in ITM’s own version of the popular TV show ‘Dragon’s Den’.
In this version, called ‘Enter The Dragons’, four hopefuls will compete for prizes including £10,000 worth of free marketing via ITM.
The association will also present another adaptation of a TV programme.
‘Have I Got Business Travel News For You’ will close the second day of the conference and will pit two teams against each other for the coveted ITM Conference trophy.
The conference takes place at the Crowne Plaza Northwood from April 16-18.
