JacTravel appoints Asia sales head
JacTravel, the UK-based wholesale tour operator, has appointed Ali Jones as head of sales, Asia.
In her new role, she will be meeting prospective clients in the Far East, selling JacTravel’s B2B booking system and XML links in to its extensive inventory of hotel accommodation, which trade customers can access on a net rate basis.
The inventory currently comprises more than 10,000 properties in more than 550 cities.
JacTravel’s director of online, Angela Skelly said, "Ali did an outstanding job attracting Olympic business.
"During the London Games, we handled more than 80 Olympic groups of all sizes."
In the previous 12 months, JacTravel’s sales in Asia increased by nearly 80%.
