Jet2 has launched a limited programme to Iceland for February and March next year, with flights from five UK airports.

Three-night midweek or four-night weekend packages are available to book with Jet2CityBreaks or seat-only deals are available from Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle.

Packages include a guided Northern Lights Tour and a choice 3- and 4-star hotels in Reykjavik. Excursions to the Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon (pictured) are also available.

CEO Steve Heapy said: "Iceland is a destination that is rapidly growing in popularity thanks to its abundance of natural wonders, such as the Northern Lights, Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon.

"As well as geothermal spas, geysers, natural parks and the incredible Aurora Borealis, Iceland also offers the ultimate city break destination in stylish Reykjavik, which is the world’s northernmost capital.

"This programme of dedicated trips to Iceland allows independent travel agents to offer even more choice for winter 2019."

Hlynur Sigurdsson, director of commercial operations at Keflavik Airport said: "We at Keflavik Airport extend a welcoming hand to Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks. We are happy to help in making these trips to Iceland a success."
