Kata Group introduces first ananea resort in Thailand
Kata Group Resorts has rebranded Beyond Khaolak Resort to ananea Beyond Khaolak — the first ananea-branded property in Thailand.
It becomes the brand’s flagship hotel in Southeast Asia.
It marks a new chapter for the Andaman beachfront resort, under the philosophy of ‘Slow Glamour.’
It was previously one of the flagship resorts under the Beyond Hotels & Resorts brand.
The rebrand to ananea Beyond Khaolak is the result of a strategic collaboration with ananea, a European lifestyle hotel brand designed for new-generation travellers.
ananea is part of DERTOUR Hotels & Resorts, under DER Touristik Group, one of Europe’s largest travel and hospitality corporations.
“This is a significant milestone for our group, The transition to ananea Beyond Khaolak is not merely a change in name, but a redefinition of beachfront leisure experiences in Khaolak for the modern traveller,” said Pramookpisitt Achariyachai, Chairman of Kata Group Resorts.
The name “ananea” originates from the Greek word “ananeosis”, meaning “renewal”.
Located at Pak Weep Beach, ananea Beyond Khaolak is just 80 minutes from Phuket International Airport.
The resort features 177 villas, the Kanda Spa, a fully equipped fitness center, and expansive outdoor swimming pools.
There are a range of dining experiences including a grill, Beach Bar and Restaurant and casual café.
