King’s Cross station reopens
King’s Cross station was evacuated during this morning’s rush hour today due to a fire alert.
TfL confirmed a fire alarm was activated amid multiple signal failures at the station causing long delays.
A Twitter update told passengers: King’s Cross St. Pancras: The station is closed while TfL investigate a fire alert, your tickets will be accepted on the local buses.
The station has since reopened.
