Klook partners with food tourism platform REDTABLE
Asia based tours and travel activities platform Klook is tucking into food tourism in a big way.
It has secured a partnership agreement with Korean restaurant marketing platform REDTABLE to offer its food tour products.
REDTABLE has a presence in the China market with existing partnerships with major Chinese travel companies including Ctrip, Tuniu and Alitrip, and is featured on Dianping, China’s largest restaurant review website.
Now it aims to leverage Klook to expand in the Southeast Asia market.
"Given the high level of interest in Korean food across Southeast Asia, thanks to the Hallyu boom we are hoping that our contract with Klook serves as a valuable opportunity for us to promote Korean food to people living in areas where the app is available," said REDTABLE CEO Hae-yong Do.
Klook lists more than 10,000 activity products in 80 cities across Asia including Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
