Kuoni appoints marketing chief
Kuoni has appointed Dean Harvey as marketing director.
Harvey joins from Brighton-based advertising agency Designate, where he was digital development director working on the Kuoni account, and also on campaigns for other clients including Mark Warner, TravelZoo and Disney.
"The shape of the Kuoni business has changed significantly in recent years and it’s an exciting time to be joining one of the most prestigious brands in travel at this point in its evolution," he said.
"We’ll be focused on creating and delivering stand-out campaigns and effective marketing that will attract new and existing customers to our stunning collection of holidays."
Kuoni said the appointment was key to develop its online presence, destination and product range and distribution network in the UK.
Before working at Designate, Harvey was at search agency Spannerworks, which was sold to iCrossing, the US digital marketing agency, in 2008 for £40 million.
He became chief commercial officer at iCrossing, where he stayed for just over three years, and worked on campaigns for clients including Apple, Toyota, M&S and Coca Cola.
