Kuoni gets tweeting
Kuoni is now using Twitter to communicate with shareholders, customers, and anyone else who wants to know what the company is up to.
It plans to use the tool to share information, including a study of the most exclusive holiday destinations, warnings about possible natural disasters or unrest at holiday locations, and news from Kuoni’s executives.
Even CEO Peter Rothwell will be tweeting from time to time, giving updates about the company’s finances and acquisitions direct from Kuoni Group’s headquarters.
“In order to maintain the best possible dialog with our customers and stakeholders, we at Kuoni have been exploiting the benefits of different social media as communications and marketing tools for a long time now,” explains Peter Brun, head of corporate communications.
