Latam fined $1 million for passenger refund delays

From March 2020, it received over 750 complaints saying Latam failed to provide timely refunds for cancelled flights to and from the US.

Latam said it has issued over $62 million in refunds since the start of the pandemic.
The USDOT has fined seven airlines in recent months for delays in refunding a combined $622 million owed in passenger refunds.
