Leading Netherlands Hotel
The Dylan Amsterdam has been voted ‘Netherlands Leading Hotel’ at the 2009 World Travel Awards for the second year in a row.
Described by the International Herald Tribune as the ‘Oscars’ of the global travel and tourism industry, the poll this year was the highest in the World Travel Awards’ 16-year history, with over 170,000 industry professionals casting their votes for what they consider to be the very best travel, tourism and hospitality products and services in Europe.
General Manager René Bornmann commented: ‘We are extremely honoured to win this award for a second year running and this is a real testimony to the hard work and efforts of our fantastic team. We hope to carry on from strength to strength as the leading hotel in the Netherlands for many years to come’.
Located on the Keizersgracht, one of Amsterdam’s most famous and picturesque canals, The Dylan Amsterdam was the first theatre in The Netherlands and comprises of 41 individually designed suites offering guests a unique and personal experience. The Dylan is also home to Vinkeles restaurant, renowned for its contemporary and traditional cuisine and frequented by Amsterdam locals and visitors alike.
