Lights and Movie Sites tour launches in Manhattan
Love the lights?
On Location Tours is launching a Holiday Lights & Movie Sites tour of New York that includes the brightest spots as well as the best of classic holiday movie locations.
Beginning November 29, the tour will travel to the sites every family loves from Miracle on 34th Street, Home Alone 2, Elf, Scrooged and many more.
The tour includes the apartment where Buddy the Elf stayed with his Dad during his visit to New York City; the tree at Lincoln Center, where Bill Murray found out his taxi driver was the Ghost of Christmas Past in Scrooged; a peek into the holiday windows at Macy’s, made famous in Miracle on 34th Street, as well as Bloomingdales and Lord & Taylor; and the famed tree in Rockefeller Center where Macaulay Caulkin reunites with his mom in Home Alone 2.
The tour departs from Columbus Circle on Thursdays and Fridays at 6 PM and on Saturdays at 4 PM, through Saturday, January 4.
Tickets are available at onlocationtours.com; they cost $35 for adults and $25 for children.
A portion of the net proceeds will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House.
