LNG cruise ship MSC Euribia completes sea trials
MSC Cruises’ second LNG cruise ship MSC Euribia has successfully completed sea trials.
It will now receive finishing touches at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint Nazaire.
Euribia is set to be delivered to MSC on 31 May.
Euribia will be MSC Cruises’ 22nd ship to join the fleet.
The ship will accommodate up to 6,327 passengers.
The official naming is slated for 8 June in Copenhagen before an inaugural season in Northern Europe from Kiel, Germany.
It offers seven-night sailings to the Norwegian Fjords.
As well as a LNG cruise ship, Euribia will also have shore power plug-in connectivity to reduce carbon emissions in port.
