Luxury resort Amanzoe reopens after wildfires
Luxury resort Amanzoe has resumed guest operations again following closure due to wildfires in Greece.
All guests and staff were safely moved July 4 to alternative accommodations, as the fires reached the property in Porto Heli.
However, the extent of the fire was not as fierce as initially feared, ‘thanks to the heroic efforts of the local authorities and volunteers’ Aman said.
“We are very grateful to the local authorities who worked tirelessly to contain the fire and who remain on site to continue to monitor the situation.”
It is working through reservations in priority of date order, Aman said in email to trade partners.
Clients due to travel by Friday 22 July, you will be directly contacted by the hotel team.
The Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection says there is still a ‘very high fire risk’ across Greece due to unusually high temperatures.
