Luxury travel specialist in BBC documentary
ITC Luxury Travel Group is to feature in a two-part documentary called The Millionaires’ Holiday Club on BBC Two later in June.
The series, which goes out on June 10 and 17 at 9pm, will show what goes on behind the scenes of the independent luxury travel company.
Cameras will follow ITC’s clients on holidays to Barbados, Jamaica, India and a cruise on board the SeaDream yacht, and will also follow one of ITC’s Chester staff jetting off on fam trips to the Seychelles and Thailand.
"This series is a great platform for showing off exotic destinations, but the main reason we took part in the filming was to fly the flag for the travel industry and prove the worth of passionate travel professionals," said ITC Luxury Travel Group CEO Jennifer Atkinson.
Referring to the fam trips, she added: "These research trips may look like jollies, but everyone in the travel industry will appreciate how essential they are to what we do."
The programme features members of ITC Luxury Travel’s sales, concierge and Chairman’s Club teams.
The documentary also follows hospitality staff in resort, including chambermaids, butlers and chefs.
Four sets of clients agreed to be filmed for the documentary, all genuine paying customers of ITC and sister company Western & Oriental.
