Malaysia-Thailand border to reopen
Thailand and Malaysia plan to reopen their shared border next month. It would boost tourist arrivals as Malaysia is a top inbound market.
The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration and Tourism Emergency Operation Centre are preparing measures ahead of land borders reopening next month. The border crossings would be part of the quarantine-free ‘Test & Go’ programme.
Travellers would require a negative Covid-19 test on Day 1 on arrival and on Day 5 Foreign Affairs spokesman Natapanu Nopakun said.
