Man arrested after tram shooting in Dutch city
A man has been arrested after three people were shot dead and others injured on a tram in the Dutch city of Utrecht.
The Foreign Office says it is seeking further information following the shooting on Monday morning and warned visitors of a large security presence in the area.
"You should remain vigilant and follow the advice of the local security authorities," it told visitors.
Police are investigating a ‘possible terrorist motive’ and told people to stay away from the area.
Security was increased at airports and mosques and schools were told to keep their doors closed.
