Man arrested over Luton Airport fire
A man was arrested in connection with the huge London Luton Airport fire, even though police maintain the cause was an accidental vehicle fault.
The huge blaze ripped through a multi-story car park on 10 October.
It left as many as 1,500 vehicles destroyed.
The Terminal Car Park 2 collapsed causing the grounding of flights and disrupting thousands of travelers.
A man in his 30s was arrested by Bedfordshire Police for alleged criminal damage.
He was arrested as a ‘precaution’ and has since been released on bail.
Police haven’t said how it relates to the cause of the fire if at all.
The police are still investigating the cause of the airport fire.
