Marriott’s 400,000 North American rooms going smoke-free
The latest hotel chain to go smokeless: Marriott.
The company announced its properties in the US and Canada will become 100% smoke free starting in September.
The move was the largest of any smoke-free chain. Marriott has nearly 2,300 hotels and 400,000 guest rooms.
Currently, more than 90% of Marriott’s guest rooms are already non-smoking.
Marriott said it expected “very positive customer feedback” from the move.
