MAS picks KK as eastern gateway

Malaysia Airlines’ new eastern hub in Sabah will see 400 flight and cabin crew based in Kota Kinabalu by June next year.
Additionally, six aircraft will be based in Kota Kinabalu to service new destinations in Japan and Korea.
Other MAS international destinations in the planning include cities in China, Indonesia and Australia.
Kuching will see 25 weekly flights – up from 14 – to Kota Kinabalu.
