Melia opening new Vietnam resort

Wednesday, 19 Feb, 2017 0
Global hotel group Melia has announced the signing of its fifth hotel in Vietnam.

The Meli Cam Ranh Bay Villas & Resort is a partnership with Cam Ranh Joint Stock Company and will feature 200 rooms all with sea views and 100 villas.

With direct beach access the resort will have its own wedding chapel, restaurants and a spa.

"If anything has taught us these past 60 years, it’s our ability to deliver strong returns on investments for our partners. Together, I’m confident we can achieve robust and sustainable growth in Vietnam. Looking ahead, the new Melia Cam Ranh Bay Villas & Resort will continue to set the benchmark for world-class services," said Melia CEO Gabriel Escarrer Jaume.

The hotel is slated to open in 2018.

It follows Melia Group projects in Hanoi, Danang, Phu Quoc and the rently signed Melia Ho Tran.

The new resort will be located about five kilometres from Cam Ranh Bay Airport on Vietnam’s southeastern coastline.
