Melia rolls out new MeliaPro agent portal
Melia Hotels International has rolled out a new online B2B portal, expanding the MeliaPro booking tool across a range of B2B segments.
It now offers online services for corporate travel, meeting and event organizers, travel agencies and tour operators.
To support the move, a new website meliapro.com has been launched.
Travel agents receive instant commissions via MeliaPro along with guaranteed best rates for clients.
It already has more than 100,000 registered travel agent partners and agent sales increased 15% this year.
For corporate travel partners, the new website provides easy access to specialist hotels listing meetings amenities and up to 20% discount on hotels in major business cities around the world.
"The evolution of MeliaPro enforces our commitment to all of our B2B partners, who play such a fundamental role in our business development. It is our priority to meet their expectations and improve the customer experience," said Rafael Soria, global B2B digital sales and marketing director.
"Based on our experience with consumers through melia.com, which has become a powerful tool for both sales and customer relationships, we are sure that meliapro.com will deliver the same levels of satisfaction for our B2B partners."
The B2B portal also provides real-time room availability for tour operators and DMCs.
