Miami and beaches launches interactive web site

Thursday, 19 Mar, 2008 0

The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) has launched a new interactive website.

This site features sweeping aerial videos of Miami while specifically targeting the following market segments with linked information: Men, Women, Couples, Family and Gay/Lesbian.  This interactive experience emphasizes the Greater Miami and the Beaches’ broad appeal to many types of visitors, and directs them to www.miamiandbeaches.com for planning information.

Created by GMCVB’s Web Development and New Media Development departments, the interactive website’s homepage offers a graphical treatment of the Miami experience and there is also a ‘blaster’ that opens across the page for six seconds before closing.  The interactive website is just one of three new interactive technologies to be created by GMCVB.  The other two – Virtual Community and Xtreme Desktop are still in the development stages but will be following shortly.
