Monarch expands Canaries coverage
Monarch is adding new services to Lanzarote, claiming that it will operate more flights to the Canary Islands this summer than any other low cost carrier.
The new flights from May will be from Gatwick and Birmingham with one-way fares starting online at £49.99.
The airline is also increasing the frequency of flights to four a week between Birmingham and Menorca.
Monarch’s scheduled division managing director Tim Jeans said: “We are delighted to be able to offer our passengers these new services to Lanzarote, which until now has been predominantly served by the charter airlines. The addition of services from Gatwick and Birmingham to existing flights from Luton, means a 300% increase in flights to the island this summer.”
