Money Can Buy You Love in Liverpool
As Liverpool ends its year-long tenure as European Capital of Culture, Hard Days Night Hotel, the four star Beatles-inspired boutique hotel has today announced its Christmas and New Year deals to allow guests to see out Liverpool’s famous year in style.
Although money can’t generally buy you love, Christmas lunch at the critically acclaimed Blakes restaurant, situated inside the hotel, will go a long way to helping out. Traditional roast turkey with a gigolet of the leg, roast potatoes, roast root vegetables and sage jus followed by Christmas pudding with brandy sauce and calvados ice cream are just two of the options available for a bargain £95 per person.
And New Year at Hard Days Night Hotel will definitely allow guests to get their hippy hippy shakes on with a cracking line-up of entertainment including Avalon, a live 60’s band, and a resident DJ to complement an expansive menu. Choices include fillet of beef with horseradish potato puree, spiced red cabbage and thyme jus followed by chocolate and sour cherry mousse with white chocolate sorbet. All this for just £125 per person or throw in accommodation on top for £425 in total per couple to make sure you are not just a day tripper.
And just to make sure you don’t end up in the lonely hearts club this festive season, guests can enjoy a sensational room rate of £100 per night including breakfast (rate subject to availability) between 15th December and 9th January.
“Hard Days Night Hotel is the perfect place to celebrate the fantastic year that Liverpool has just had,†commented Mike Dewey, general manager, Hard Days Night Hotel. “So don’t just let it be a normal Christmas this year, take the long and winding road to Liverpool and get your ticket to ride into 2009 by experiencing a real Liverpudlian Beatles celebration.â€
