More than 90 killed as second earthquake hits Lombok
A second powerful earthquake has hit the Indonesian tourist island of Lombok, killing more than 90 people and injuring hundreds more.
The 7 magnitude quake came a week after another on the holiday island left 14 dead.
Sunday’s earthquake damaged thousands of buildings and could be felt on the neighbouring island of Bali.
Bali airport suffered minor damage but no flight operations were affected or at Lombok’s airport.
Model Chrissy Teige and her husband, singer John Legend, were in Bali and had to flee their holiday accommodation.
The UK Foreign Office said the earthquake hit the north east of the island of Lombok and was followed by a number of other smaller earthquakes in the same area.
"Initial reports indicate damage to buildings in Lombok, the Gili Islands and Bali," it said.
"If you’re in the area, you should monitor local media, exercise caution and follow the advice of the local authorities."
