Murder investigation after body found in hotel room
Police have launched a murder investigation after a woman’s body was found in Premier Inn hotel room.
The body of a woman, believed to be in her forties, was discovered on Saturday morning at the hotel in Kempston, Bedfordshire.
Police said that a man, believed to be the same person they were looking for in connection with the murder, had been found dead on the railway tracks in Nuneaton, Warwickshire – nearly 70 miles away.
A Bedfordshire Police spokesman confirmed the pair were in a relationship, reports the Daily Mail.
It is believed that the couple had booked in together on Friday night.
Following the murder, part of the hotel was sealed off and a full-scale scenes of crime investigation launched.
