"My South African Story" Now Live
South African Tourism’s latest initiative, My South Africa Story, is now live online at www.southafrica.net/mysastory, ready for visitors and contributors. The website shares stories and images from famous and everyday Australians and the memorable experiences they had when travelling in South Africa.
My South Africa Story showcases the stories, images and experiences of Australian personalities such as Fifi Box, Livinia Nixon and Dave Hughes. There are also opportunities for Australians who have travelled to South Africa to upload photos from their trip online.
The new interactive site also offers visitors the chance to win their own trip to South Africa . The competition will run throughout September and October, asking entrants to provide a caption for a selected photo of South Africa . Visitors to the site will be able to vote for the best caption, awarding the best description with the trip of a lifetime.
“My South Africa Story shows some of Australia ’s most respected journalists and personalities sharing their experiences with our target audience inspiring others to travel there to experience it for themselves,†said Bangu Masisi , General Manager, South African Tourism.
