New Amadeus Western Europe director
Amadeus has appointed Angel Gallego as Weatern Europe director, succeeding Paul de Villiers.
De Villiers has moved to become general manager of Savia Amadeus, the technology company’s commercial organisation in Spain.
Gallego moves to Europe from his previous position as Latin America director for the organisation. He has been with Amadeus for six years, joining from American Express.
Amadeus Europe, Middle East, Africa & Latin America vice-president Julia Sattel said: “We have every confidence that Angel will be extremely successful in his new role, as he brings with him over 10 years’ experience in the travel and tourism industry and a superb track record within our business.
“Amadeus’s growth in Western Europe is at a critical stage and his abilities will be invaluable in helping to further accelerate our expansion in the region.”
