New TUI appointment
TUI Travel has appointed Jacky Simmonds as group human resources director and member of the group management board from October 1.
She replaces Bill Logan who is retiring from his role after 12 years with the group.
Logan will remain with TUI in an advisory role to the board through 2011.
The structure of TUI Travel PLC has also been re-organised into four business sectors: mainstream, specialist & activity, accommodation and destinations and emerging markets.
